NO, we did not "plan" on having another baby. In fact, we planned on NOT having any more, did everything we could to NOT have any more, and even CAN'T have any more after this!

But God had other plans.....

I'm due on New Years Day.

Congratulations. After our conversation the other day, I don't know if I should laugh with you, or cry with you. You are a great mom and you will do wonderful. I guess that 8th seat will come in handy.

Dear, dear Saints of the Most High God.
This is my concession speech. I have run a good race and fought a good fight. But I have run into a very formidable opponent. In that we have six children, and have long enjoyed the admiration, snickers and awe of others who used us as role models of what not to do, I must now pass the torch to Kelly and Chris. No longer will we be the ones everyone whispered about. No longer will peoople laugh and point fingers at us at campmeeting. No, my friends it will now be the Morrises. May the audience please stand at this reading, (gentlemen remove your hats) and give humble congratulations to the new Large Family of the Year winners! Yeah, clap clap clap. Bravo! Yahoo!
(Can we offer you a deal on our 15 passenger van?)
Love, Bro. Robin, Sis. Joyce, Erin, Robyn-LaNae, Kristen, Evan, Weston and Lane Autumn Sheree Thames

Congrats to Chris, Kelly, Michaela, Noah, Caleb, Libby, and to Asher!!! I guess this is part of that "hundred fold" blessing in the Bible. That is awesome that God decided that since you guys are such great parents He would send another one! We love and appreciate your family very much and are so glad you are Alabamians!

Love,
Bran, Rebecca & Elly.

Awww... yeah! I'm so glad - I was sad when you decided not to have more children - you're the best mom I know! It's also nice to know that God's still in control - you can plan all you want but when it comes down to it - He's going to have His way. :) Great news - congrats to my bestest cousin with 6 kids! (I get to say that now but likely not for long in this family - sheesh!) love ya!

OH CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am hoping we'll be able to have a fun post like this sooner than later!!!

Our first two boys were "surprises" - especially Carter when Noah was only 8 months old, but God had other plans and they turned out WAY better than our own. They always do, don't they?

I have to say that was not what I was expecting when I clicked on the surprise link. My mouth literally fell open. Congrats and we will all sing "The Morris's come marching six by six hoorah hoorah" as you come by.

Here's hoping this wonderful child is born Dec. 31st.

So you can write him/her off on taxes for this year.

In all seriousness, Kelly, you and Chris are great parents and I know you will do just fine with another child. I admire you for your sincere efforts to raise your kids in the nuture and admonition of the Lord.

May God bless your future as much as he has your past!

Hi Sis. Kelly I bet you wont guess who this is but you signed my guestbook wayyyy back on like march 9th and I just read it 5 minutes ago (I dont have much comp time anymore). I just wanted to say hi and I am sorry that I disappeared like I have - I just couldn't handle certain issues any longer. I am working on returning to Alabama to stay, however I may attend college in NC first. I haven't fully made up my mind. I am joining the National Guard soon, i go for my physical next Tueasday, and I will be sure to come and visit when I return form basic training. if you know who this is by now, please drop me an email at letsgetitonalready@yahoo.com. Congrats on #6 too :-D, bye bye

SO HOW HAVE YOU BEEN FEELING ANYHOW???

Don't tell me you've been sick and miserable when i should've been offering to take your kids for the day.

Ya, let me know when; the day will come if they haven't already-- that you'll need a good nap.

WOW!!!! My hat is off to you! CONGRATULATIONS to you all. It's so funny the look you see on peoples faces when your names (CHRIS & KELLY)get mentioned now; this big grin starts in the center of their faces and they really smile. Children are so wonderful aren't they? :-)

This is the Kim that Kelly left because there is no room in her midnight surprise carrier.

Or you could just leave Bro. Chris at home and let me drive. :)

Don't forget the grub!

Oh Kell, I miss you. When are you coming home? I thought you might get to a computer again and comment back to all of us excited people. It is not like you have been gone that long, but I really miss you.
I hope you guys are having a great vacation and that you are doing well. My cards are still waiting on you when you get home.
Love ya, Denna

That's great Sis. Kelly I'm happy 4 u. You know, I wanted 8 children but was only allowed 3. Just think of the fun ya'll have as they grow up. Then all the grandchildren! WOW!!! Is that not a blessing.
